Best Places for Senior Pictures: Scattered Seeds Flower Farm

Avery wanted flower fields for her senior pictures and Scattered Seeds Flower Farm delivered big time!

This was my first time shooting here and it was so magical! The farm is located in Monroe, Washington about 30 miles northeast of Seattle nestled in the Cascade Foothills.

Scattered Seeds is a part of Pine Creek Nursery, a beautiful family-owned nursery and events center.

In spring to early fall, colorful flowers bloom all over the property – a perfect backdrop for senior portraits.

My favorite part about shooting here was the variety of locations! Pine Creek Nursery also has greenhouses, a pond, fountain, and many buildings that are exquisitely decorated with plants and flowers.

Avery picked out the most stunning outfits for her senior photos. Both of her dresses complimented the location so well! The photos below were taken during golden hour near the small pond in front of some cattails.

We had some interesting weather for Avery’s senior photoshoot – in fact the sun only peaked out towards the end, and the whole sky was still covered in clouds during sunset! We still managed to get that beautiful, glowy, golden light.

This photoshoot took place in August, so the sunflower field was out in full bloom!

If you want flower fields for your senior pictures, I would definitely recommend Scattered Seeds! The farm is also close to a number of other great photoshoot locations, including downtown Monroe, so you can get a variety of looks for your senior photos.

The farm is beautiful all year long, with flowers blooming spring to early fall. If you want to do your photos here, make sure to book your photoshoot with me in advance!
